Rinser hygiene
ProMaqua accompanies its beverage industry customers from the planning stage through to the commissioning of efficient solutions and systems. For this reason, rinser hygiene forms one of our core areas of focus.
The main tasks in relation to rinser hygiene are the disinfection of bottles or tins as well as the disinfection of the rinsing water. We have been using system solutions based on chlorine dioxide and ozone for decades to handle these tasks. The disinfection of bottles with ozoniferous water in the rinser provides an extremely effective pre-treatment.
Apart from ozone, chlorine dioxide is one of the most effective and rapid means of killing germs and can be used without the risk of possible interaction with the rinsing water. ProMaqua makes use of all three standard disinfection methods and, thanks state-of-the-art technology, ensures Smart Disinfection for your beverage production facilities!
Ozone
Ozone has an extraordinarily broad spectrum of effectiveness, including bacteria, viruses, spores and parasites, and can kill more germs than most other disinfection agents in a short space of time.
The ozone generation system OZONFILT® can be used with all common rinser types. Retrofitting of existing rinsers is possible at any time. The system design is particularly compact and it is easy to install. Typical application concentrations are in the range of
0.5 - 1 ppm ozone. In addition, the rinsing water can be concentrated and used for pre-spraying.
Chlorine dioxide
Chlorine dioxide is straightforward and quick to rinse out and is approved for drinking water treatment. This means that it can be used without the risk of possible interactions
with the rinsing water. In order to do so, potable water quality sterilised water is used with less than 0.2 ppm chorine dioxide. The rinsing water is collected in a locally installed tank and is then concentrated for bottle disinfection (1st spraying) to a concentration of approx. 1.5 - 2 ppm. This offers huge savings potential thanks to recycling of the water.
Benefits of Smart Disinfection in rinser hygiene - Low Impact
Gentle on people, machinery and products - Less Cost
Reduction of conventional chemicals - High Efficiency
